Israeli authorities continued their wave of arrests of major underworld figures on Monday as part of the affair that has earned the moniker “Case 512.”
Police on Tuesday announced that they had arrested six additional crime figures, chief among them top mobster Asi Abutbul.
Investigators allege that Abutbul and the other five suspects are behind the 2000 murder of Moshe Hadas, the 2002 killing of Dudi Dangor, the attempted murder of Avi Yemin in 2002, and another attempted murder in 2001.
The six men were brought before court on Tuesday for arraignment.
