Israel to beef up Border Police presence in mixed Arab-Jewish towns

Israel will beef up the presence of Border Police in mixed Jewish-Arab towns as part of an effort to quell the widespread rioting that has rocked the country in recent days.

The Prime Minister's Office issued a statement on Saturday saying that it had authorized the deployment of an additional three companies of Border Police reservists in cities that have witnessed Jewish-Arab tensions in recent hours.
