South Africa will host the ninth "Israeli Apartheid Week" between March 11-17, a campaign that takes place in over 250 cities around the world and seeks to raise awareness of "Israel's apartheid policies towards the indigenous Palestinians."

The series of events, that include rallies, lectures, cultural performances, music shows, films and workshops, also aim to garner support for the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) against Israel.
