The Israeli band Balkan Beat box placed 5th on Amazon's list of the 100 best albums in the world music category for 2010 with their album "Blue Eyed Black Boy."

The band, made up of drummer Tamir Muskat, saxophone player Ori Kaplan and MC Tomer Yosef, fuses traditional Mediterranean and European music with hip-hop, rock and reggae beats.
