A Jerusalem municipal parking inspector was under arrest Wednesday for taking bribes to reduce parking fees, police said.
The suspect allegedly repeatedly took hundreds of shekels in cash from motorists in exchange for reducing parking tickets, Jerusalem police spokesman Shmuel Ben-Ruby said.
The city inspector was remanded in custody by a Jerusalem court for three days.
