A prayer service held by Reform and Conservative Jews at the Western Wall on Thursday was met with ultra-Orthodox protests and eventually erupted into brawls.

Haredi worshipers and the non-ultra-Orthodox worshipers continued to argue in the kerfuffle after the services ended.

Also after the serviced ended, Yizhar Hess, the director of the Masorti (Conservative) Movement in Israel, questioned the lack of police presence to hold back the haredi protestors.
