Libya and Russia discuss possibility of $2 b. arms deal

Libyan Defense Minister Maj.-Gen. Abu Bakr Yunis Jabr landed in Moscow on Saturday evening for talks which may end in a USD 2 billion military contract, according to a Reuters report.

If signed, the deal could reportedly include 20 fighter jets, several S-300 air defense units and dozens of tanks.
