MK Michael Ben-Ari (National Union) on Tuesday requested that Attorney-General Menachem Mazuz order the arrest of wanted Fatah members currently taking part in the movement's sixth general assembly in Bethlehem, including Zakaria Zubeidi. Zubeidi, the former Jenin commander of the Aksa Martyrs Brigades, was released from prison in 2007 in return for a pledge not to engage in terror activity. Ben-Ari said that "fugitives" should not be given immunity.
