Likud MK Danny Danon called upon Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to respond by assassinating the heads of Hamas in light of Gazan terrorists breaking a temporary cease-fire with rocket fire on southern Israel Wednesday night hours ahead of the scheduled end of the truce.

"All those trying to harm us must know clearly that we will always win," the former defense minister said. "Enough stuttering and humiliation. If Hamas wants to test Israel's determination, let us use our strength and topple Hamas."

Construction and Housing Minister Uri Ariel (Bayit Yehudi) met Wednesday with residents of the Gaza periphery and promised to help them have more secure their homes. He called upon Netanyahu not to permit concessions in the negotiations in Cairo.

"Residents of the communities around Gaza are our Protective Edge," Ariel said. "The achievements of the operation must not be lost by giving prizes to terror."
