Labor MK Itzik Shmuli who was one of the leaders of the social protests in 2011 said at the protest in Tel Aviv on Saturday against Finance Minister Yair Lapid's budget  that "Lapid's economic plan will seriously hurt the working individual and will crush the economically weak."

Shmuli added the public was not demanding that Lapid be a socialist...but that he simply follow through on promises that he made as early as one week ago."
