A man drowned off Tel Aviv's Hilton Beach Friday morning.

The man, in his 30s, was pulled out of the water by MDA paramedics who then performed basic resuscitation.

He was transferred to Tel Aviv's Sourasky Medical Center where he later passed away.

Witnesses on scene stated that they saw the man floating face-down in the water near the shore and immediately notified the beach's lifeguards.
