One man was lightly wounded during a massive street fight between Muslim Arabs and Christian Arabs in the Christian Quarter of the Old City on Sunday afternoon, police said on Monday.

While details of the altercation remain unclear, according to Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld, at least 30 people were involved in the disturbance, although no arrests were made. “Police units responded quickly to prevent larger incidents from taking place,” said Rosenfeld. “It was a local matter, and did not extend beyond the two groups.”
