Greek authorities say a moderately strong earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 4.7 has struck off the Aegean resort island of Rhodes. No injuries or damage have been reported.
The Athens Geodynamic Institute says the undersea quake occurred at 0426 GMT Thursday some 100 kilometers southeast of Rhodes, in the southeastern Aegean Sea.
