Shaul Mofaz, chairman of the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, said on Tuesday that the IDF will have to draft reservists in September to be ready for the aftermath of an expected United Nations vote on Palestinian statehood, Army Radio reported.

According to the report, Mofaz said that "the IDF is preparing for a scenario in which regular forces alone will not be able to handle the anticipated events."
