Nearly 10 months after Chana and Shmulik Zissel’s only child, three-month-old Chaya Zissel, was killed in a Jerusalem vehicular terrorist attack, the parents announced the birth of a daughter.

During the October attack, a Palestinian man from Silwan drove his car into the toddler’s stroller and other pedestrians at the Ammunition Hill light rail stop.

The Zissel’s were returning from the Western Wall at the time. Within weeks of the murder, Chana became pregnant again, giving birth last week.
“We are grateful to the Almighty for everything,” Shmulik told Ynet. “We thank him today for bringing us a daughter.”
