Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah made a televised appearance on Wednesday to dispel rumors that he is having health problems, news site Lebanon Now reported.

"The rumors spread in the previous days made me hold an urgent media appearance to show you that I am in good health," Lebanon Now quoted him as saying. "There is a media campaign against Hezbollah," he added.

Radio Sawt Beirut International, which is reported to have connections with Hezbollah’s opposition, claimed on Monday, citing unidentified sources, that Nasrallah was transferred on Sunday to Iran “aboard an Iranian presidential plane,” which left from the Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport.

The sources said that Nasrallah’s health has deteriorated since he was recently diagnosed with cancer.
