Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday that the IDF's Operation Pillar of Defense targeting terrorists in Gaza last year had reduced by 98 percent trajectory fire from the Strip into Israel, Israel Radio reported.

Israel will not sit idly while facing terrorist threats, Netanyahu said during a visit to the IDF's Gaza division, marking a year to the operation. The premier reiterated his charge that Israel will not tolerate fire on soldiers and citizens, and vowed to respond with great force in light of any future attack.
