Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu spoke on the phone to Hadash head Muhammad Barakei on Monday.
Barakei confirmed Netanyahu's assessment that Hadash will sit in the opposition and added that Hadash's political stance "is the opposite to that of Netanyahu's, and we will therefore act as an active, fighting opposition."
Netanyahu told Barakei that he views himself as the prime minister of all citizens of Israel, and that he considers the development of Arab towns in Israel to be important.
