Netanyahu confirms he spoke to Trump on the phone days prior to the president's visit

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's spokesperson confirmed on Wednesday that the premier indeed spoke to US President Donald Trump on the telephone on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the prime minister's spokesperson, the conversation lasted twenty minutes and throughout it the only topic discussed was Trump's impending visit to Israel.

Trump is expected to land in Israel on May 22 and stay until May 23.
