Netanyahu reportedly calls Mubarak for talks on peace process

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu called Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on Thursday night for talks on resuming the Middle East peace process, the Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram reported. Meanwhile, Netanyahu's envoy Yitzhak Molcho and the Defense Ministry's Mike Herzog were due to return to Israel from the US on Friday and brief the prime minister on their discussions with US Mideast envoy George Mitchell's staff this week.
