At least one person died and more than 20 were wounded after large-scale riots broke out Sunday night between police and protesters in Rahat, during the funeral for a Beduin youth who was killed in clashes last week, Channel 2 reported.

One police officer was hurt along with 23 demonstrators, including one who succumbed to his wounds shortly after sustained critical injuries.
