PM: We must reach peace deal or Israel will be bi-national

Israel must reach a peace agreement with the Palestinians, or it will become a bi-national state, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Wednesday in a meeting with Foreign Ministry management.

Netanyahu made reference to recent efforts made by US President Barack Obama and U Secretary of State John Kerry to find a formula that will enable the resumption of the peace process, and said that "Israel has no pre-conditions for the renewal of talks - we must reach an agreement that will prevent Israel becoming a bi-national state."

Netanyahu said that the conflict is not about territory but about the existence of the Jewish state.
