PM calls on gov't to 'prevent repeat occurrences' of violent crime

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Sunday referred to an apparent rise in violent crime, calling on the government to work alongside Israel Police to "prevent repeat occurrences." As well as backing more rigorous punishments for criminals, the prime minister told his cabinet that he had asked Justice Minister Ya'acov Ne'eman to prepare a plan on the matter.
