Palestinian activists began erecting a new Palestinian outpost Friday overnight, south of Yatta in the West Bank, in what has recently become a weekly protest of Israeli settlements.

The IDF spokesmen said Saturday that troops arrived at the scene and dismantled the small village, which activists named Canaan.
