A 29-year-old Palestinian woman charged with carrying a knife and attempting to attack an IDF soldier at a security checkpoint, was sentenced to six months in prison on Monday. According to Army Radio, the defendant claimed that she had come to the checkpoint with a knife not in order to carry out an attack, but rather because she wanted to get caught and go to jail "to take a break from life."
