A pedestrian died late Sunday after he was hit by a minibus while walking across Route 804 in the Galilee, Israel Radio reported.

The incident occurred on the stretch of highway between the Galilee towns of Arameh and Arabeh, according to Israel Radio.

Police have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
