A pedestrian in his 60s was killed on Friday morning after he was hit by a car on Route 88 near the Ben Ami Junction, in the Nahariya area. A Magen David Adom that was alerted to the scene pronounced his death. The preliminary police investigation suggested that the man had attempted to cross the road at a place where there is no pedestrian crossing.
