Former president Shimon Peres extended his condolences Thursday to the family of Hallel Yaffa Ariel, 13, who was killed after a terrorist infiltrated the West Bank settlement of Kiryat Arba and stabbed her in her bedroom.

"We must make sure that whomever was responsible for the death of 13-year-old Hallel, who was murdered in her bedroom, will pay the price," he said. "We must make sure that terrorist attacks such as this will not occur in the future and bring an end to the murder and hate."
