President Shimon Peres said Tuesday afternoon that his earlier meeting with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in Cairo was "a meeting at an unusual time - there is a feeling that a window of opportunity has opened." Talking to reporters at the end of his visit to the Egyptian capital, Peres said Mubarak was a key player in the Middle East. "Mubarak doesn't want to leave a messed up Middle East behind him," he added.
