Police: Hadera mayor acted fraudulently in CEO appointment

Hadera Mayor Haim Avitan's appointment of a sewage purification company CEO constituted fraud, police said on Sunday.
The comments came following the conclusion of a National Fraud Unit investigation.
The case material has now been transferred to state prosecutors, who will decide whether to indict Avitan.
