Police on Saturday evening apprehended the 15-year-old Tamra resident suspected of stabbing his father to death earlier in the day. An initial police investigation suggested that the youth stabbed his father during an argument they were having in the yard of the family home. After the alleged stabbing, the youth fled the scene, and large forces of police spent some five hours scouring the greater Tamra area before he was found.
