Police arrested 16 suspects overnight Tuesday in the arson of a regional council building in Tuba Zanghariya, firing guns into the air and causing damage in the city earlier this week.

All of the suspects are in their twenties, police said, adding that officers will continuing making arrests in the coming days. The suspects were expected to be brought to the Safed Magistrate's Court for remand extension hearings.
