Police set up roadblocks in central Israel following terror alert

Police were blocking roads in the Sharon area in central Israel following warnings that a terror attack might be perpetrated, Wednesday afternoon. Police officers set up roadblocks and were inspecting vehicles at entries to cities and on main junctions. Magen David Adom also instructed its paramedics to raise their level of alert to the highest. The number of ambulances and paramedics at the ready has been consequently doubled.
