Poll: 48% of Israeli Jews back Women of the Wall

A large portion of Israeli Jews back the Women of the Wall movement, a poll by the Israel Democracy Institute (IDI) and Tel Aviv University (TAU) published on Saturday found.
Forty-eight percent of Israeli Jews backed the Women of the Wall, while 38% do not, the poll found.
Secular Israeli Jews (64%) and traditional-non-religious Jews (53%) were the most supportive of the group, while the traditional-religious (26%), religious (28%) and ultra-Orthodox (0%).
The survey was conducted April 28-30, 2013 and included 600 respondents who constitute a representative sample of the adult population of Israel. The measurement error for a sample of this size is 4.5%.
