The deadline to vote in the Likud primaries was extended by one hour on Monday night, with polls remaining open until 10 p.m.

The extension came after Sunday's primary was extended an extra day on Monday due to technical difficulties with the voting system.

Results of the election were expected to be released at around midnight on Monday.
