In response to the IDF operation, Prime Minister Netanyahu released a statement congratulating the Navy and Israeli security forces while condemning the flotilla for aiding Hamas and casting a blind-eye to the regions other horrendous actors.

"I want to commend the soldiers and commanders of the Navy who effectively obstructed participants from entering Gaza's shores illegally. This flotilla is nothing but a display of hypocrisy which only helps Hamas while ignoring the atrocities in the region," according to Netanyahu's statement.
