A Palestinian driver rammed IDF soldiers at a checkpoint near Qasr el Yahud in the West Bank, lightly injuring three men on Friday.

The driver swerved towards the soldiers after they refused him passage.

The driver attempted to flee to the Allenby Bridge, on the border with Jordan, but was arrested by authorities. Rescuers Without Borders reported that one IDF soldier suffered a leg injury and was offered first aid.
Security forces are present at the scene.

Qasr el Yahud is a popular baptism site.

This is the latest attack since the shooting at the Havat Gilad outpost that left Rabbi Raziel Shevach dead on February 9th.
