Relative of murdered Palestinian teen badly beaten

A 63-year-old cousin of Muhammad Abu Khdeir, 16, who was abducted and burned alive by radical Israelis in July of 2014, was severely beaten by unknown assailants in east Jerusalem Thursday night.

The victim, identified as Zoheir Abu Khdeir, of Shuafat, who works for Egged, was hospitalized overnight. He sustained a broken nose and required 12 stitches to his head following the attack.

Police have yet to find the assailants, and have denied reports that they are not investigating the brutal assault.
