Report: 16 rockets fired from Syria hit Lebanon; none hurt

More than 16 rockets were fired from Syria into Lebanon early Saturday morning landing in the Bekaa Valley region, The Lebanese Daily Star quoted a security source as saying.
There were no injuries in the attacks, according to the report, but a rocket did cause a fire to break out near the town of Sireen al-Fawqa.
The Daily Star quoted Lebanese state media reports that four Syrians had been arrested in connection with the rocket attacks.
In addition to the rocket attacks, a Shi'ite shrine in the Bekaa Valley was also shot at and damaged by armed gunmen on Saturday, the Daily Star reported.
The hostilities came as Lebanon has been increasingly pulled into Syria's civil war with several thousand Hezbollah operatives from the country backing Syrian President Bashar Assad's fight against opposition forces.
