Syrian Information Minister Omran al Zoubi said in an interview with CNN on Thursday that the use of chemical weapons is a red line for Syrian President Bashar Assad. "President Obama says chemical weapons are a red line," Zoubi said. "Then he is in direct accordance with President Assad who also thinks that chemical weapons are a red line."Zoubi told CNN that a hard-line Islamist rebel group has used chemical weapons during the civil war and his government "would never use" such munitions "if we had them."
