BEIRUT - Syrian state media said a bomb blast struck the al-Midan neighborhood in the south of the capital Damascus on Monday. No other information was immediately available on state media. Witnesses said a car bomb exploded outside the district's police station as a suicide attacker also blew himself up inside the station.
