Report: British man killed in Syria, fighting for rebels

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said a British man that might have been fighting with the rebels was killed in Syria, the BBC reported on Friday.

The Observatory said the man was Muslim with a British passport, but that it could not verify the passport's authenticity.

The man was reportedly killed along with an American woman and another man.

The British Foreign Office was investigation the report.
