Egyptian Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy on Tuesday said Egypt is committed to providing basic goods to the Palestinian people, in particular in the Gaza Strip, Palestinian Authority news agency WAFA reported.Quoting Fahmy during a meeting with a British delegation, WAFA said the foreign minister emphasized his opposition to smuggling tunnels, stating that they compromised national security. Fahmi added that Egypt is committed to providing full support for the Palestinian people.
