Egypt uncovered a spy networking working with Israel, Palestinian news agency Ma'an reported on Sunday.

Ma'an quoted a senior Egyptian official who said that Egypt arrested an Egyptian resident of Rafah believed to be the main suspect in a network of eight members passing information to Israel about the security situation in Sinai. According to the report, the arrested person was being monitored for four months and it was discovered that he was in contact with Arabic speaking intelligence officers and Egyptians and Palestinians working for Israeli intelligence services.
