The proposed NIS 4 billion cuts in the defense spending are going to be decreased, Israel Radio quoted sources familiar with the negotiations on the budget as saying on Monday morning.
According to the sources, less money will be cut from the IDF's budget, but these funds will not be taken from civil budgets.
The government is expected to discuss the budget proposal later Monday, after the security cabinet reconvenes to conclude negotiations around noon time.
