Two men were injured in an explosion near Gaza City on Sunday, Bethlehem based Ma'an News Agency reported.

One man was moderately injured, while the other lost his hand in the explosion, Shifa Hospital told Ma'an.

Witnesses told Ma'an that a large blast could be heard West of Gaza City, but it remains unclear what caused the explosion.
