Republican Mitt Romney on Friday will tell supporters he plans to seek the US presidency for a third time in 2016, Bloomberg reported.

Romney, the Republicans' unsuccessful candidate in 2012 who also sought his party's nomination in 2008, is expected to hold a conference call with supporters later on Friday morning.
