Russian tourist, 35, drowns off coast of Eilat

A 35-year-old man drowned off the coast of Eilat on Saturday, paramedics from Magen David Adom reported.

According to MDA, at 3:59 pm they received a call that a man had been pulled out of the water after drowning off the Dekel beach in the city. Paramedics who arrived at the scene tried to resuscitate the man, but ruled him dead on the way to Yoseftal Hospital in the city.

The man was a tourist from Russia, and was pulled out of the water by bystanders who saw him motionless in the water.
