A senior official in the Israeli Air Force said that Saturday's escalation with Syrian and Iranian forces marks 'the most extensive Syrian anti-aircraft attack since 1982.' Nonetheless, the official stressed, the IDF considered its response to have been a “a fully successful operation.” They also confirmed that the Iranian drone that was shot down had flown within Israeli air space for a minute and a half before being intercepted.
