Senior air force official: Syrian fire on Israel 'most extensive' attack since 1982

A senior official in the Israeli Air Force said that Saturday's escalation with Syrian and Iranian forces marks "the most extensive Syrian anti-aircraft attack since 1982."

Nonetheless, the official stressed, the IDF considered its response to have been a “a fully successful operation.”

They also confirmed that the Iranian drone that was shot down had flown within Israeli air space for a minute and a half before being intercepted.
