Greek protesters called for an end to the violence in Gaza during a demonstration on Tuesday (July 22) outside the European Union offices in Athens.

Peace and anti-racism activists, members of the Palestinian community and other immigrant communities, as well as members of the main opposition leftist Syriza Party - which organized the event - marched from the capital's parliament building to the representative offices of the European Union unfurling a large Palestinian flag and carrying banners with slogans against the Israeli government.
